Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her passion for performing on theatre. Theatre studies was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a few years. She then moved on to film and television. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn was also on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few decades in the story of Walter White.
